Cleveland Browns cut veteran OT Cornelius Lucas

The Cleveland Browns have released veteran offensive tackle Cornelius Lucas to save approximately $2 million in cap space, further altering their offensive line unit.

The move saves the Browns around $2 million in cap space and avoids a roster bonus due next week. Lucas, signed as an insurance policy last offseason, struggled during his opportunities, playing just 10 games.

With other tackles like Jack Conklin and Wyatt Teller hitting free agency, the team is restructuring its offensive line, leaving room for newly acquired Tytus Howard, Dawand Jones, and KT Leveston.
