The Buchanan Wrestling program remains dominant and somehow, the Bears keep rewriting history.
In the CIF State Championship down in Bakersfield this weekend, the boys and girls teams each won a state title. The feat lets Buchanan become the first school to have both their teams win the championship in the same year.
The girls earned their first title in program history with 147.5 points. It's the tenth time the boys program comes home with a state title, separating itself from second place by 59 points.
