Carolina's Nikolaj Ehlers sealed his hat trick with an empty-net strike with 14 seconds remaining, giving the Hurricanes a 6-4 victory over the struggling Canucks. Sean Walker, Andrei Svechnikov, and Sebastian Aho each added a goal and an assist for the Canes (39-16-6).

The Canucks (18-36-7) showed resilience despite their losing skid, with Filip Hronek registering a goal and two assists. Vancouver has now lost seven straight games and has just two wins in their last 23 outings (2-17-4).
