Cox Leads Purdue Past Northwestern

Purdue men's basketball avoided a third straight loss with a 70-66 win at Northwestern. C.J. Cox led the charge with 27 points, 21 of which came in the decisive second half. His late 3-pointers gave the Boilermakers a crucial lead in the final minutes.

Trey Kaufman-Renn left briefly with a shoulder injury but returned to contribute 11 points and 10 rebounds. Purdue committed eight turnovers, some of which led to Northwestern points, but their defense in the closing moments secured the victory.
