Man United Mainoo Future Uncertain

According to the Daily Mail, discussions over a long-term deal for the England midfielder continue without resolution. Mainoo, who was frozen out under former manager Ruben Amorim, has been restored to the starting lineup by Carrick, which has improved the negotiation atmosphere.

However, there are still unresolved issues between the 20-year-old's representatives and club officials. Mainoo agreed to a salary compromise but didn't hear back from United until Amorim was fired in January, and currently earns significantly less than many teammates.
