The Kansas City Chiefs are reportedly moving to part ways with starting offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor to create significant salary cap space.

Jawaan Taylor has reportedly been informed he will be released before the start of the league year if the Kansas City Chiefs cannot find a trade partner, per ESPN.

The move is expected to save the team approximately $20 million under the salary cap. Taylor, 28, is a durable veteran who has started 111 games over seven seasons.
