Iran's Football Federation Uncertain About World Cup Participation

Iran's football federation president Mehdi Taj has said the national team may not be able to play World Cup matches in the United States following recent bombardments by the US and Israel, expressing uncertainty and a lack of hope.

FFIRI president Mehdi Taj told sports portal Varzesh3 that the national team’s participation in the World Cup in the United States is uncertain after the US and Israeli bombardment of Iran.

Taj said the attacks have left the federation unable to look forward to the tournament with hope.
