Pedro Acosta, 21, took his first MotoGP victory in Thailand, out‑gunning defending champion Marc Márquez after the Spaniard was penalised for a late‑race incident. The 2024 sprint saw Acosta lead the final lap, securing the win on the last corner.

Acosta’s podium was completed by teammate Raúl Fernández on the Aprilia, while the rest of the Spanish lineup celebrated the historic moment for the country’s MotoGP future.
