Under new Sporting Director Mateu Alemany, Atletico Madrid is set to rebuild its defence after the summer signings of David Hancko, Marc Pubill and Matteo Ruggeri. The club will consider offers for Nahuel Molina, Clement Lenglet and Jose Maria Gimenez, all of whom have struggled for game time.
Atletico are also tracking Palmeiras right‑back Agustin Giay, who could replace Molina, and have reportedly agreed a departure for Gimenez after the World Cup. Lenglet, who joined on a free from Barcelona, has seen his minutes drop with the arrival of Hancko and Pubill.
