Despite widespread fan outrage and interest from international investors, Rayo Vallecano President Raul Martin Presa has no plans to sell the club. He previously rejected a €100m offer from Chinese investors and most recently turned down Strategic Value Partners' €150m bid, having purchased the club for just €961.55 while taking on €62m in debt.
A key point of contention has been Presa's desire to move the stadium away from Vallecas, with suspicions he wants to sell the land for development. However, Madrid President Isabel Diaz Ayuso has confirmed the stadium will remain in its current location, promising renovations to improve safety and capacity.
