Bolton midfielder Josh Sheehan has extended his contract through the 2027-28 season, after 175 appearances and 17 goals since joining in 2021.

Bolton Wanderers have secured the services of 30‑year‑old midfielder Josh Sheehan, who will remain with the club until the end of the 2027‑28 campaign. The Wales international, who has made 175 appearances and scored 17 goals for the club since his arrival from Newport in June 2021, will now be on the books for another two seasons.

Sheehan, who has earned 16 caps for Wales and played the full 90 minutes in their recent World Cup qualifier against North Macedonia, said the club feels like home for him and his family.
