Ohio State LB Sonny Styles Shocks NFL Combine with Historic Stats

Former Ohio State linebacker Sonny Styles delivered a historic performance at the NFL Combine, setting records with his athleticism and measuring in at 6-foot-5.

Styles posted a 43.5-inch vertical jump, only 1.5 inches shy of the all-time record, and an 11-foot-2-inch broad jump. His 4.46-second 40-yard dash tied for the fastest time of the day, ranking first among linebackers with a 92 athletic score. The 21-year-old, projected to be selected 12th overall by the Cowboys, is the youngest player in the draft.

Known for his basketball background, Styles is the son of former NFL linebacker Lorenzo Styles Sr., who won a Super Bowl with the Rams.
