Wesley Yates III added 19 points and seven assists for the Huskies, who shot 50% overall and held Rutgers to 40% shooting. Washington took the lead for good early and built as much as an 18-point advantage before Rutgers closed the gap late. The victory was significant as it marked Washington's first-ever win at Rutgers in their second all-time meeting.
