The Green Bay Packers and Denver Broncos could cut ties with one interior offensive lineman each this offseason.

In Green Bay, center Elgton Jenkins is widely viewed as a cut candidate, and the same can be said for guard Ben Powers in Denver. That's because both players are set to account for big cap hits after an injury-plagued 2025 campaign.

But ESPN's Jeremy Fowler is not ruling out both players being traded instead.

"Two offensive linemen to potentially be included in trades are Green Bay's Elgton Jenkins and Denver's Ben Powers. Both have large cap hits and potential value," Fowler said.

It's certainly not crazy to think teams could come calling for one or both players, as starting-caliber offensive linemen, which Jenkins and Powers are, don't often become available.

Sure, both players getting cut might be inevitable, which would be ideal for any team interested, but teams in need of an offensive lineman might view a trade as necessary to avoid allowing other teams to get involved in free agency.

Three logical trade suitors for Powers and Jenkins are the New York Giants, Las Vegas Raiders and Buffalo Bills.

The Raiders could have a need at both guard spots if Dylan Parham leaves in free agency and Jackson Powers-Johnson moves to center. If JPJ stays at guard and Parham leaves, Las Vegas will have a need at guard and center.

The Giants have a need at guard thanks to the pending free-agent status of Greg Van Roten, and New York might want an upgrade over John Michael Schmitz at center, which Jenkins would amount to.

When it comes to the Bills, they have pending free agents at guard and center in David Andrews and Connor McGovern.

Given their lackluster cap space situation, it's possible the Bills have no choice but to let both walk in free agency. That said, the Bills will likely need the Broncos or Packers to pick up money on those contracts to get something done.
