Inter Milan star Hakan Calhanoglu will reportedly be in contention for Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa at San Siro.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Lautaro Martinez remains the only notable absentee in the home squad.

Hakan Calhanoglu missed Inter’s last league outing, as well as both Champions League playoff legs against Bodo/Glimt.

However, the Turkish midfielder has apparently regained full fitness, shrugging off a minor calf problem.

Calhanoglu resumed full training yesterday and will be in contention for the team this weekend.

Whether Cristian Chivu would decide to hand him a starting berth remains uncertain.

Nevertheless, the 32-year-old’s return from injury comes as a major boost for Inter, as they bid to win a domestic double.

Sitting ten points clear of second-placed AC Milan, Chivu’s charges are in firm control of their Serie A title quest.

Furthermore, they’ll face Como in a two-legged Coppa Italia tie, and Calhanoglu’s recovery could prove decisive in their push to secure both trophies.

One and a half years before the launch of the planned NBA Europe league, many things are still unclear, according to the managing director of the basketball Bundesliga.

"There are still many questions and the NBA is called upon to answer them," Stefan Holz told dpa.

"We also need to work with the other European leagues to develop a common position, formulate questions, and take a stance," he added.

The NBA and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) need to "do more" in this regard, demanded the Bundesliga boss. "At the moment, there are still more questions than answers."

The NBA plans to start an European league in October 2027. Details about participants, format and financial aspects are expected to be clarified by the end of March.

Europe already has a successful EuroLeague competition but the NBA wants a piece of the action.

In Germany, top teams Alba Berlin and Bayern Munich are the strongest candidates to join NBA Europe.
