Colorado State wins at New Mexico for more Mountain West chaos

An emphatic, impressive win.

The red-hot February for the Colorado State men’s basketball team has now carried into March as the Rams picked up their best win of the season.

CSU went to a place the Rams rarely win and had a big lead most of the night for a 82-74 victory at New Mexico on March 4.

It’s CSU’s eighth win in a row and impressive sign-off to games at The Pit with CSU a member of the Mountain West.

CSU entered the night just 13-53 all-time at New Mexico.

The victory for the Rams throws the Mountain West into more chaos. All three of the top title contenders lost midweek, with New Mexico falling at home to CSU, San Diego State losing at Boise State and Utah State losing at UNLV.

CSU, Boise State, Nevada and UNLV are all tied with eight conference losses with one game to go. They're all one game behind Grand Canyon.
