SEC Women's Basketball: Tournament schedule set as South Carolina, Texas earn top-4 seeds

In order to win a conference championship, Texas women's basketball must first beat Tennessee. Or Alabama. Or Missouri.

On Sunday, Texas learned its draw for the upcoming SEC Tournament. The Longhorns (28-3, 13-3) tied with Vanderbilt (27-3, 13-3) for second place in the SEC standings this season, but UT will be the No. 3 seed in the SEC Tournament due to its tiebreaking loss at Vanderbilt on Feb. 12.

When the SEC Tournament gets underway this week, Texas won't have to play until Friday night due to the double bye it earned as a top-four seed. In the tournament quarterfinals, Texas will face either Tennessee, Alabama or Missouri. Alabama and Missouri will play Wednesday, and Tennessee awaits that winner the following day.

Below is the full schedule for the SEC basketball tournament (all listed times are Eastern Time). Every games in this single-elimination competition will be played at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C., and the championship game is set for Sunday afternoon.
