Federico Dimarco was the undisputed man of the match as Inter Milan beat Genoa 2-0 at San Siro, sweeping the top ratings across all five major Italian media outlets for another stunning individual display.
The Italy wing-back opened the scoring with a spectacular first-time volley that left Genoa goalkeeper Bijlow with no chance.
And, indeed, his performance throughout the evening underlined why he has become the most influential player in Serie A this season.

Both Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport handed him their highest rating of 7.5, with the latter describing his left-footed volley as “simply delicious” as he “slapped the ball into the corner.”
Tuttosport were equally effusive, declaring him to be “in King Midas form, every ball he touches turns to gold,” awarding him a 7 alongside TMW and L’Interista.
It was a performance that perfectly encapsulated everything Dimarco has brought to Chivu’s Inter this season.
Creativity, decisiveness and an ability to produce moments of genuine brilliance when his side need them most.
