Hossam Abdelmaguid has been one of Zamalek’s top performers this season—if not the very best—according to Sofascore statistics.

A product of the club’s academy, the 24-year-old defender has established himself as the leader of the White Knights’ backline. He has featured in 24 matches this season, netting three goals—including one in the CAF Confederation Cup against Al-Masry.

The Egyptian international (10 caps) boasts the highest rating at the club on Sofascore (7.24). He leads the team in completed passes (842), long passes (76), and clearances (74), and ranks second in ball recoveries (13).

Abdelmaguid was part of Egypt’s squad at the last AFCON, playing every minute against Zimbabwe, Angola, Ivory Coast, and Senegal.
