Tyreek Hill's time in Miami Gardens is at end after four back-flipping, head-scratching seasons with the stories franchise.
The Miami Dolphins will release Hill, 31, according to reports confirmed by The Palm Beach Post on Monday, Feb. 16. It's a move that has been widely expected as the team clears salary cap space for its new leadership of general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan and head coach Jeff Hafley.
According to The Palm Beach Post's Joe Schad, the Dolphins will save $35.2 million on Miami's 2026 salary cap if Hill is a post-June 1 designated release. That move will also create a dead cap hit of $28.2 million.
While he was part of many off-field controversies with the Dolphins, Hill's raw statistical production was undoubtedly among the best in the NFL in his four seasons with the Dolphins.
He led the NFL in receiving in 2023 and amassed 340 catches for 4733 receiving yards and 27 touchdowns in that span, all of which rank Top 10 in the league despite playing just four games last season.
Here's a look at some of Hill's most memorable moments with the Miami Dolphins:
