WNBA GMs Choose Bueckers Over Clark, Wilson

WNBA general managers have chosen Paige Bueckers as their top player to build around, according to the league's annual GM Survey released on May 5.

Despite Caitlin Clark receiving 50% of the vote last year, the 2026 WNBA GM Survey shows a shift in opinion. General managers selected 2025 Rookie of the Year Paige Bueckers as their top choice (33%), with A'ja Wilson and Clark tying for second place at 20% each.

The survey of 15 WNBA GMs also named the Las Vegas Aces as favorites to repeat as champions and Wilson as the projected MVP for 2026. bettingx.club
