Manolo Cadenas Coaches Young Cancer Survivor

After spending eight months hospitalized with a serious case of sarcoma mieloide, 16-year-old Manu from León has found a new lease on life through handball training with veteran coach Manolo Cadenas. The young athlete, who lost significant weight during his battle with cancer, was personally approached by Cadenas who offered to train him individually after his recovery.

Before falling ill, Manu had already been called up to the lower categories of the Castilla y León selection. Cadenas, known for his humility, smiles when asked about his initiative to help the young player, saying he simply wanted to help a child in need. ipltable.lol
