Shaw secures WCL draw for City vs Madrid

Published October 1, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · The Guardian

Manchester City secured a high-quality draw with Real Madrid in the Women's Champions League following a week of off-field turmoil at the English club.

The result was a fair reflection of an even but entertaining game, leaving both sides with two points from their opening two fixtures. City will know their league phase opponents should theoretically become less challenging from hereon, after their opening draw at Bayern Munich. blablasex.es
