Lanning Sees Indiana in UCLA

With Oregon hosting UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 10th, Ducks coach Dan Lanning sees similarities between the Bruins and the Indiana team that defeated Oregon in last year's College Football Playoff semifinals. Lanning noted UCLA's 4-0 start under first-year coach Bob Chesney reminds him of Indiana's rapid turnaround under Curt Cignetti.

Both programs were rebuilt by coaches who came from James Madison, brought their coordinators and numerous transfers with them. "Why I draw some comparisons to Indiana — a lot of guys traveled with (the coach) to their next stop," Lanning said. "Extremely well-coached team. You've got two coordinators that were with (Chesney) before, so they've been together for a while, a lot of continuity." iwanktv.club
