Kasparov Warned of Russian Death List

Chess legend Garry Kasparov (63) and his colleague Ivan Tjutrin have been warned by American and Lithuanian security services that they are on a Russian assassination list. Kasparov confirmed the warning in social media, stating it was not surprising but still shocking. wlop.pl

The two founded the Free Russia forum in 2016, which supports the Ukrainian military and organizes anti-war conferences. Russia designated the forum as an "undesirable organization" in 2023 and as a "terrorist organization" in 2025. This warning comes after the US Department of Justice in September charged five alleged Russian intelligence agents with plotting attacks worldwide.
