Cristiano Ronaldo has left Portugal's training camp in Denmark after coach Jorge Jesus announced the captain would again be a substitute for Thursday's Nations League match against Denmark.

The 41-year-old Portugal captain walked out on the team after Jesus told reporters Ronaldo would not start the upcoming match. Ronaldo, who was a substitute in Portugal's game against Norway on Sunday, had been training alone in the gym since the weekend.
