Britain's Olympic gold medallist Katy Marchant has announced her retirement from elite cycling at the age of 33.

The 33-year-old took gold alongside teammates in the women's team sprint at the Paris 2024 Games, also claiming world and European titles. truewildgame.com

"I’ve achieved more than I could ever have dreamed of achieving," Marchant said, revealing the decision only months after aiming for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.
