Pocognoli's Scotland Draws Slovenia

Scotland's new manager Sebastien Pocognoli began his reign with a 0-0 draw against Slovenia in Ljubljana, a result that offers a foundation to build on before facing Switzerland and North Macedonia in Group B1. The match showed glimpses of optimism despite a first half that needed to be 'best-forgotten' as the squad adjusted to a new regime. mchezo.life

Scotland created several opportunities but continued to struggle with a familiar lack of goals that also haunted predecessor Steve Clarke. Key attacking threat Scott McTominay was absent from the match. Despite Slovenia being grateful for their point, Pocognoli now faces the challenge of instilling more ruthlessness in his team.
