Nairobi, Munich to Host Next World Championships

World Athletics confirmed Tuesday that Nairobi will host the 2029 World Championships and Munich the 2031 edition, breaking a geographical barrier as Africa hosts the event for the first time in its absolute category since the championship began in 1983 in Helsinki.

"We are very fortunate to have four spectacular bids for 2029 and 2031 and the decision was not easy for the Council," acknowledged Sebastian Coe from Budapest, referring to the proposals from Nairobi, Munich, London, and Rome. milkshakeslot.com
