NC State-Virginia Football Game Relocated From Brazil to Virginia

The NC State vs. Virginia college football game originally scheduled to open the season in Brazil has been relocated to the Cavaliers' home field.

The Week 0 matchup, set for Aug. 29, was intended to be the first college football game played in South America. However, event organizer Athlete Advantage recently informed the ACC and the schools that the event could not move forward as planned in Rio de Janeiro following an extensive operational review.

The ACC, both schools, ESPN, and the NCAA are currently working to keep the game on its originally scheduled date at Scott Stadium. Fans who purchased tickets or travel packages through the official College Football Brasil website will receive refunds. livefromquarantine.club
