McMann Powers Kraken Past Panthers

Bobby McMann had a goal and an assist, powering the Seattle Kraken to a 6-2 victory over the Florida Panthers.

McMann, acquired in a trade from Toronto, scored his 22nd goal of the season and assisted on Jamie Oleksiak's goal. The win moved the Kraken into the second wild-card spot in the Western Conference.

The two-time defending champion Panthers, now 11 points out of a playoff spot in the East, are in danger of becoming the first Cup-winning team to miss the playoffs the following season since Los Angeles in 2014-15.
