Keelan Harvick, son of NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick, has committed to a NASCAR career after previously pursuing racing in Europe. The 13-year-old signed with Toyota Racing Development, who will partner him with RACKLEY W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick, Inc. for dozens of late model races this season.
Keelan will drive the No. 62 Toyota Camry with ExxonMobil as primary sponsor. The deal marks a shift for the Harvick family as Kevin Harvick spent his entire 23-year career with Chevrolet and Ford, never Toyota. "The Toyota process matched what we would do," Kevin explained, noting the emphasis on both driving development and the "human piece" of the program.
