According to ESPN analyst Aaron Schatz, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. is among the NFL players who could use a 'change of scenery' this offseason. Richardson's early performances with Indianapolis have fallen short of expectations, posting a 45.0 QBR in four starts as a rookie in 2023 and a 47.4 QBR in 11 starts in 2024. He missed most of the 2025 season due to a fractured orbital bone sustained during pregame warmups.
The Colts are expected to re-sign quarterback Daniel Jones to a contract extension, leaving Richardson's future with the team uncertain. At 24 years old and with a $10.8M cap hit projected for next season, the former fourth overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft could be moved this offseason, especially after rising second-year quarterback Riley Leonard showed promise in his first career start.
