Caleb Walls, 27, was promoted to head coach of the Dr. Phillips Panthers after serving as wide receivers coach for three years. The move keeps the program in‑house as Walls has been part of the staff since 2022.
Wells, who led the team from 2011 to 2025, finished with a 136‑50 record and seven double‑digit win seasons. The Panthers finished 9‑4 last season and ranked 76th in the state.
