St. Thomas Basketball Honors Supporter While Pursuing Title

The University of St. Thomas men's basketball team, ranked No. 4 in Division III, honored longtime supporter Dr. Jack Follis with a plaque while continuing their pursuit of an eighth straight championship.

The Celts have built a championship program under four-time Coach of the Year Anthony Medina, boasting a 112-20 record over the last five seasons. Known for their stifling defense, players like Corey Thompson and Angel Johnson credit their success to teamwork and defensive intensity.

During their recent game against Texas Lutheran College, the UST community celebrated Dr. Follis, a graduate and Associate Professor who attended every athletic event. A plaque now marks his regular standing spot at Jerabeck Center, honoring his unwavering support of the program.
