Liverpool Signs Jacquet After PSG Pass

Liverpool has agreed a £60 million deal for highly-rated defender Jeremy Jacquet, a player who was once considered by PSG before their recruitment team hesitated.

France youth international Jeremy Jacquet, emerging as one of Europe's most promising center backs, will join Liverpool after the club moved decisively in the market. The 6'4" defender, who ranks among Europe's most effective in aerial duels, is expected to complete rehabilitation from shoulder surgery before joining Arne Slot's squad.

PSG previously had reservations about Jacquet's development when he was younger, choosing Sékou Doucouré instead. That decision proved significant as Doucouré did not progress to the PSG first team, while Jacquet continued to develop his game at Rennes, where his performances attracted attention across Europe.
