McMillan Healed, Ready to Replace Evans

Buccaneers receiver Jalen McMillan has fully recovered from a career-threatening neck injury and is prepared to step in for Mike Evans.

McMillan, who fractured three vertebrae and had herniated discs after landing on his head in a preseason game, played only four games last season. He caught 12 passes for 178 yards to close out the season.

'I am happy,' McMillan said. 'Just to be out there and to catch balls from Baker [Mayfield] and just to run on my feet, I feel good.' The Buccaneers selected McMillan in the third round of the 2024 draft, and he made 37 receptions for 461 yards and eight touchdowns in 13 games. With Mike Evans now in San Francisco, the Bucs will rely on McMillan's production. newsbetting.cv
