Rondale Moore, 25, died on Feb. 21 after a suspected self‑inflicted gunshot wound was discovered in a garage in New Albany, Indiana. The Floyd County coroner has opened an investigation and an autopsy is scheduled for Sunday.

Moore played for Purdue (2018‑2020) and was a second‑round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2021. He spent three seasons with the Cardinals and had brief stints with the Falcons and Vikings before his death. The Vikings, NFLPA and other teams issued statements expressing condolences.
