Woods Signs One-Day Deal to Retire as Ram

Veteran wide receiver Robert Woods signed a one-day contract with the Rams to retire with the team he helped win a Super Bowl.

Robert Woods announced his retirement with the Rams on Tuesday, signing a one-day contract after 13 NFL seasons. The 12-year veteran played for the Rams from 2017-2021, recording 367 receptions for 4,626 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Woods was a two-time team captain who contributed to the Rams' Super Bowl LVI championship in 2021 and recorded two 1,000-yard seasons with the team.
