KTM ficha a Alex Márquez para liderar su proyecto en MotoGP
El subcampeón del mundo de MotoGP cambiará de fábrica y estatus de cara al 2027. Alex Márquez se bajará de la Ducati satélite del equipo Gresini a finales de curso para subir a la KTM como piloto oficial de la firma austríaca los dos próximos cursos, dejando atrás a su familia dentro del ‘paddock’. El acuerdo se ha anunciado este lunes por la mañana, a falta de oficializarse el nombre de su compañero de escuadra, Fabio Di Giannantonio. El piloto italiano, tercero en la tabla mundialista esta temporada, recorrerá el mismo camino que su colega español desde el otro equipo cliente de la marca de Bolonia, el VR46.

Aaron Rodgers: Mike McCarthy's offense is all about the quarterback’s timing
Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy are in their first year together in Pittsburgh, but after 13 years together in Green Bay, they know each other as well as any quarterback and head coach in the NFL.
Rodgers says he knows exactly what he needs to do in the McCarthy system, and it's all about him having his timing down with his teammates.
“It’s just the next generations of the West Coast offense,” Rodgers said, via TribLive.com. “It went kind of Bill Walsh to kind of what Mike was doing with Paul Hackett, and then it’s kind of grown from there. From a real fundamental level, it’s all about the quarterback’s timing.”
Rodgers said McCarthy has changed some of the terminology in his offense since the two were last together on the 2018 Packers, but the system is fundamentally the same.
“I spent 13 years in [McCarthy’s offense],” Rodgers said. “He’s changed some stuff when he was in Dallas. . . . It’s stuff that we used to run, but he’s just called it something different now.”
In three months, McCarthy will hope to see Rodgers running that offense the same way he did in Green Bay.
NCAA president expects no changes to trans athlete rules after US supreme court ruling
Collegiate sports organization led by Charlie Baker banned trans athletes from women’s sports after 2025 Trump order
The president of the US’s top administrator of collegiate sports on Sunday said his organization does not anticipate adjusting its rules on transgender athletes after a recent federal supreme court decision allowed states to ban them from participating in school athletics.
In an interview with CBS News’ Face the Nation, Charlie Baker, the NCAA president, alluded to how his organization in late January 2025 had effectively banned transgender athletes from women’s sports by closing off those programs to athletes who were assigned male at birth or were taking testosterone therapy. There are no restrictions for participation in NCAA men’s sports, which Baker referred to on Sunday as “the open network”.

He is now free to play in the last-16 game against Belgium.
Sources have told the Guardian that Trump made three calls to Fifa, starting from Wednesday, to ensure that the change was made.
