Pulisic still goalless in 2026 as Milan fall 10 points behind Inter

Christian Pulisic has had a tough start to the year as the Milan star hasn’t yet scored a goal in 2026, while the Rossoneri have fallen ten points behind table leaders Inter.

Milan star Pulisic has gone two months without scoring, with his last goal coming in a 3-0 win over Verona on December 28, 2025.

The 27-year-old had had a fantastic start to the season, netting eight times and providing two assists in his first 11 Serie A games this term.

His season, however, has been affected by fitness issues that, in recent weeks, have drastically reduced his playing time.

Pulisic made a strong return to action after spending a month on the sidelines in October due to a hamstring injury suffered while on USMNT international duty.

A more recent bursitis, however, has proved trickier for the American star, who has started only two Serie A games since January.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, aside from his fitness issues, Pulisic hasn’t been as ruthless as in the first part of the campaign, wasting some big chances in games against Parma and Fiorentina.

Pulisic is under contract with Milan until 2027, but the club hold an option to extend for a further campaign.

Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat against Parma leaves the Rossoneri second in the Serie A table, 10 points behind their city rivals, Inter.
