Wyatt Teller came to Virginia Tech in the 2013 recruiting class as a four-star defensive lineman. While Bud Foster didn’t want to lose Teller, it didn’t take the Hokies too long to realize his future was on the offensive line. Teller would move to guard, becoming a multi-year starter and ending his college career as a first-team All-ACC selection.

Teller, who played at Liberty High School in Bealeton, Virginia, was a fifth-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2018 NFL Draft. By Week 10 of his rookie season, Teller was Buffalo’s starting left guard. However, after the season, the Bills traded him to the Cleveland Browns and the rest is history.

Teller would become Cleveland’s starting right guard in 2019, a position he has held for seven seasons. During that time, Teller was named to the Pro Bowl three times and was also a second-team All-Pro twice. Now, Teller’s time in Cleveland is up as he posted an emotional goodbye this week.

Teller, 31, enters free agency for the first time in his NFL career. He is still playing at a high level and should have no trouble finding his next home.

Good luck to the Teller family on their next destination.
