Kentucky vs. Auburn Injury Report: Denzel Aberdeen is probable

The Kentucky Wildcats and Auburn Tigers have released their SEC injury report ahead of Saturday’s showdown at Neville Arena.

For Kentucky, the usual injury trio of Kam Williams, Jaland Lowe, and Jayden Quaintance are out. However, there’s a new addition in Denzel Aberdeen, who is probable to play. Being listed on the injury report means he’s dealt with some sort of injury or illness this week, but for now, it looks like he will play.

Lowe is 100% out for the season, while it feels like Quaintance is just about there, as his mysterious knee swelling continues to persist while he remains out of practice.

Williams, however, appears to have a chance to return at some point following foot surgery. There’s still no timetable, so it’s hard to say when he could play again. Mark Pope recently suggested Kentucky needs to extend its season for Williams to play again, so it may not come until sometime during the postseason.

As for Auburn, reserve center Emeka Opurum remains out. Opurum is out for the season due to an undisclosed medical condition.
